プラモはかっちょいい
UEサイド2機目、ゼダス。 ガフランがザクならゼダスはグフポジションかと思うんですが、デザインの共通性はあまり無いですね。
胸と背中の出っ張りが特徴的で、コードギアスのナイトメアに見えてきますw
スリットラインはガフランと同じくメタリックシール。
ラインから庇がアニメのイメージより広いかな? ココのスペースはもっと詰めて欲しいんだが。
色々もこもこしてますが、標準以上に可動。 太ももの裏は干渉部分が開いて若干可動範囲増えます。
大まかにはガフランとほぼ同じですね。 変形機構の恩恵でつま先が伸びるのがいい感じ。
ハイヒールなので足の表情が映えます。
オプションはガフラン同様ビームバルカンの砲身がでた平手のみ。
腹ビーム。
ガフラン同様他キットのビームサーベルを取り付けられます。 例によって黄色いサーベルはジムIIから。
尻尾を外してゼダスソードに。 ビームバルカンの砲身に取り付けるんですが、あまり格好よくは構えられないかも。
変形。 ガフランはドラゴン型でしたがこちらは鳥と言うかエイというか。
フラッグみたいな感じなのですが、上半身が上半身すぎてなんか変形してる感じが薄い。
首だけでももっと引っ込めばよかったんだが。
ようやくOPの1コマが再現できた。 この鍔迫り合い、ガンダムのほうが押し負けてるんだけどね...w

ザコ（ガフラン）がドラゴンだったのに、上位機のこっちのが弱く見える…あと色的にもフラッグの変形も連想しちゃうね。
こうやって見てるとデザイン的には結構カッコイイと思うんだけど、劇中の印象や思い入れがないから手出そうとまでいかないんだよなぁ…
ラストの写真見て思い出したけど、AGE-1はまだビームサーベル装備されてないんですよね。

思っていたより見た目は細くないなぁと思ったんですが、やはり高機動タイプっていうより、単純に上級機体という扱いみたいですね。
まあ、だからこそガチガリのスパローさんに狩られる役周りなんでしょうが。
しかし、HG発売まで無敗で逃げ切るとはなかなかアッパレな（一応）雑魚メカ。
こうして見ると、ゼダスは胸の出っ張り具合がカッコいいですね。

ビームサーベルの柄は最初から装備されていて、第1話の対ガフラン戦で使ってましたけど、その時のビーム刃は長さ的にサーベルというよりダガーっぽいんですよね。
それ以降は>>3の方の言われている通り、全く使われてませんが…。
本編気にせず出来いいプラモをガシガシ遊ぶのが吉ですね

サーベルは使わないんじゃなくてまだ使えないと思いますが、ちゃんと強化で使えるようになるパターンでやってくれるかどうかは…？
ゼダスの変形の一枚目を見て、下半身に何か来ないかな？と思ってみたり。2体合体！…とかあれば……。
簡易な変形は、何だかドラグナーのシュワルグやダウツェンみたいですね。

胸の部分がサメの顔みたいに見えますね。こちらの変形が比較的おとなしいのは、
ガフランほどの異様さを必要としていないからでしょうか。
あちらはエイリアンとさえ言われていたぐらいですから、正体不明の怪物である、
という印象を人々に植え付けるためのイメージ戦略はもう十分なので、
ゼダスの航行形態は実用的にして良いよ、という判断なのかと。
初期の主力機でそこの勢力のイメージって決まっちゃいますしね。
＞ビームサーベルに出番がない
同じようにジェノアスも最後までヒートスティックしか格闘武装がないのかも知れませんね。
一話でのビームダガー滅多刺しを見るに、日野氏としては
「ゲームだとビームサーベルで斬り付けても一撃で倒せないから、ダガーでもいいじゃん」
という感覚でいる様な気が…
うろ覚えで申し訳ないけど劇中でフリット君が「ビームダガーじゃ・・・」とか言ってなかったっけ？
1話時点で装備されてるのはビームダガーで、ビームサーベルとは別物だと思ってたんですが違うんですかね？

今後の展開次第ですが、Gエグゼスの戦闘から学習してダガー→サーベルという形に進化（というか強化）するんでしょうかね？
そういえばスパローのシグルブレイドは実体刃になってますが、これは「ゼダスに効く」というAGEシステムの回答なんでしょうか…？
